A little history
Springfield has been the Effingham County seat since 1799, and its courthouse square still organizes the town. The Salzburger heritage that shaped Ebenezer and Rincon runs through here too.
The market today
Housing is a mix of older in-town homes near the square, newer subdivisions on the edges, and acreage parcels beyond. It trades below Rincon while sharing the same school district and millage advantages.
