A little history
Windsor Forest was developed in the late 1950s and 60s as a large-scale suburban answer to Savannah's postwar growth, with its own country club, golf course, and elementary school built into the plan. The brick ranch was the default product and remains the dominant one.
The market today
Lots are wide and flat, often a third of an acre, with mature pine and oak. Prices remain among the most accessible in the county for detached housing, and rental demand from Armstrong and Hunter is consistent.
