A little history
Waterways was developed in the 2000s around a system of navigable canals and lakes cut to connect residents to the Ogeechee River and, from there, the Intracoastal Waterway. It was one of the first Bryan County communities designed specifically around private boat access rather than golf.
The market today
Homes sit on canal, lake, or interior lots, with docks and lifts common on the water sections. The community amenity campus includes pools, a fitness center, and a boat ramp. Pricing tracks water frontage more than square footage.
